- Owyhee
- Owyhee is a classroom at High Desert Montessori. The class consists of fourth, fifth, and sixth grade students. Jamie, the lead teacher, became AMS certified for 6-9 year olds in the Summer of 2009. She taught k-8 students in various public and charter schools in Las Vegas before moving to Reno. Kurt, the teacher's aide, joined our staff in 2009 and is loving the benefits and challenages of being in the classroom after being an architect for many years
